Safe & Sound

This picture was taken after Dave (my BIL) returned from Afghanistan. I love this picture because it is nice to have him home alive. I can only guess how difficult the deployment was for Dave, but I know how difficult it was for my sister and niece and nephew. I am proud of them all.

Hmmm, the hat says cavalry and the patches say airborne. I can't quite tell if that's an All American Patch on his shoulder but it sure looks like it! What a wonderful photo. We love the Army and especially the Airborne. THANKS to him and I'm glad he's home safe.

Michelle - heading back here again to say thanks for the sweet comment and I've added you to my blog list.

I can't even imagine dealing with latex allergies. At first that's what we thought the problem was with diapers and his skin when he was a baby...but he came up negative.

Thanks for sharing!

Lovely picture. Glad that he is home safe. I completely understand the feeling. My BIL was deployed and it wasn't fun for any of us. Give him a big hug and thank you from us.
